The project aims to be "a magic box within a box surprise", where the effect "box" is given by the volumetric contrast of traditional house with gable roof and arched windows back, contrasting with the new building, where contained rectangular volumes and rectangular fenestration.

These fenestrations are linked by a common language - the shutters, which when closed will be a cloth (theater), a curtain that while "hiding" discreetly the new volume and highlights the existing house.
